As other City departments, fees have been waived; however, the contractor acknowledges complying with the following items below. Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. 1. Plans were reviewed using the Florida Fire Prevention Code, Chapter 16. Remodel shall be in accordance to this any other applicable code. 2. Plans shall be submitted by fire alarm company for permit. Plans shall include all details, cut sheets and battery calcs. 3. Rooms 108 and 115 door swing shall be change to swing in direction of egress. 4. Closet door latches shall be able to open from inside. 5. Bathroom doors that are lockable shall be able to be opened from the outside. 6. Add emergency lights in rooms 103 and in handicap restrooms. 7. Janitor's closet shall have a 1 hour fire rating with a fire rated door. UL rating shall be supplied to Fire Marshal prior to screw inspection. 8. There shall be no storage in attic or underneath building. These areas are for equipment only such as A/C air handlers, etc... 9. Ramps shall comply with section 7.2.5 with regards to construction, include type of construction. (Plans vague — no details) 10. Add exit sign in room 106 at east exterior door. 11. All exit and emergency lights shall be battery backup. (Plans vague — no electrical) 12. Duct detectors are required if units are 2000 cfm's or larger. (Plans vague — no mechanical) 13. Stove can only be used for warming foods. If found in use for any cooking type purpose, NFPA 96 and NFPA 17A will be enforced.
