Obtaining permit, the applicant <br /> acknowledges complying with the items listed below. <br /> Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's <br /> office. <br /> 1. All electric to be completed by certified electrician. <br /> 2. No storage allowed in electric room. <br /> 3. Opening that is created for waiting space shall be minimum 60 ". <br /> 4. Stairs shall be closed off from upstairs with 5/8" rated drywall (Type "X ") <br /> 5. Hood/duct with suppression required for any cooking operation. <br /> 6. Address front door with 6 "numerical. <br /> 7. On any secondary exits a single motion is required for egress. Panic hardware, <br /> hotel latch are examples allowed. <br /> 8. Additional emergency lighting may be required after inspect pending setup of <br /> area <br /> 9. Upstairs may be used as an office associated to the business below and <br /> nothing else. It will be considered incidental to the occupancy. <br /> Inspections Required: <br /> 1. Remodel Final <br /> ice <br /> KE ' '' : ' TT, FIRE MARSHAL <br /> ***Please be advised this review of plans submitted is a cursory review to assist the contractor in <br /> compliance with applicable fire safety codes. This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> submitted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non - compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
