Base Bid <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Building "A" (East Building) and <br /> Building "B" Single Story Roof (North Building) <br /> 1. Remove existing loose gravel and install 1 /2 inch primed DensDeck <br /> insulation fastened through roof systems, lightweight concrete insulation and <br /> metal deck. Remove base flashings, wall flashings, coping caps, pitch pans, <br /> vents, drain flashings, soil stack flashings, eave drip and gutters. <br /> 2. Provide pull tests by independent party to determine proper fastener to use <br /> and fastening pattern. <br /> 3. Install first layer of Soprema's Soprafix SBS modified bitumen membrane <br /> torch applied to the DensDeck insulation. Seal all laps by heat weld method. <br /> 4. Install new lead soil stack flashings, drain lead, vents, scuppers, eave drip, <br /> gravel stop with clete for "high wind" design, pitch pans and skirt metal under <br /> rim of HVAC units at top of curbs. <br /> 5. Install .032 mils. painted aluminum flashings with standard colors chosen <br /> by owner. Sierra Tan was selected. <br /> 6. Install new expansion joints and metal covers to protect them. <br /> 7. Install new spun aluminum breather vents, one per every 1000 sq. ft. of <br /> roofing area. <br /> 8. Install new aluminum retrofit drains to go over existing "aged" drains and <br /> flash into new roof system. Provide new drain strainer basket and "lock" into <br /> place. <br /> 9. Provide two layers of Soprema membrane at all curbs and wall base <br /> flashing areas. <br />
