Obtaining permit, the applicant acknowledges <br /> complying with the items listed below. <br /> Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's <br /> office. <br /> 1. Interior remodel shall be compliant with all applicable NFPA codes and <br /> standards. <br /> 2. If rear exit is the only exit for the building it can not go through a break room, <br /> there must be a corridor there to separate the break room. If there is an <br /> additional exit then remove exit light above that door in question, if <br /> applicable. <br /> 3. Hood and duct shall be inspected by a qualified hood technician to ensure it <br /> meets current NFPA 96 standard. This report shall be forwarded to this office. <br /> Ensure roof top fan has hinge kit and grease containment. <br /> 4. Hood suppression system shall be recertified and compliant to current <br /> standard. This shall be completed by a suppression contractor. <br /> 5. If any appliances have been changed out or moved around the system will <br /> have to be re- piped. A permit and plans will be required for this task. <br /> Inspections Required: <br /> 1. Final <br /> 2. Other inspections may be required based on suppression system or hood/duct. <br />
