Yfa Jk:j.l Pus 1 _ ' <br /> Kerry 3arnet Fax ( J 78O-!)04: f <br /> To: Assembly Occupancies <br /> Ref Annual Assembly Permit <br /> September 26, 2007 <br /> To whom it may concern, <br /> On September 10, 2007 the City of Zephyrhills passed Resolution #589 -07 which <br /> contains Iife safety fees for plan review, inspections, permits and false alarms. This <br /> replaces the old Resolution #552 -05. Under this resolution an annual permit was created <br /> for those places that are considered a place of assembly. The Florida Fire Prevention <br /> Code defines an assembly as (1) an occupancy used for the gathering of fifty (50) or more <br /> persons for deliberation, worship, entertainment, eating, drinking, amusement, awaiting <br /> transportation, or similar uses; or (2) used as a special amusement building, regardless of <br /> the occupant load. The fees for the assembly permit are $50.00. Once the permit is paid <br /> for and obtained by the owner /occupant an inspection will be conducted shortly after. <br /> The inspection will consist of a site inspection to measure your facility or assembly area <br /> and post the occupant load based on the overall square footage of useable space and <br /> dividing that by a load factor determined by Section 73.1.2 of NFPA 101, Florida Fire <br /> Prevention Code. <br /> The permit can be obtained from the City of Zephyrhills Building Department located at <br /> 5335 8 Street, Zephyrhills.
