King Road and will allow the project to move forward. <br /> Please note that this review does not eliminate any further requirements as the project <br /> continues moving forward. By receiving permit, contractor acknowledges to comply with <br /> the items listed below. Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to <br /> contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. Portables shall be located with a separation distance of 9' from any other <br /> combustible building in accordance to NFPA 80A. This is to maintain <br /> protection of exposure fires. <br /> 2. Portables shall be tied together in the manner that the construction is a tight <br /> seal. There shall be no electric, plumbing or the like in the area between the <br /> units where connection is made. <br /> 3. Occupancy is classified as industrial due to the manufacturing process that <br /> takes place with the business and not educational as noted on the plans <br /> submitted. <br /> 4. Occupant load is 1 person per 100 sq ft not 1 person per 35 sq ft as noted on <br /> the plan submitted. <br /> 5. A minimum of 2 certified fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance <br /> to NFPA 10. <br /> 6. Emergency lighting will be required. <br /> 7. Exit lighting will have battery backup. <br /> 8. Interior finish shall be Class A or B for walls and ceiling. Interior finish for <br /> floors shall be not less than a Class II. Provide documentation at building <br /> final. <br /> 9. Building shall be placard for lightweight truss construction in accordance to <br /> 69A- 60.008. Paperwork is attached supporting requirement. <br /> 10. Secondary exit doors shall be equipped with panic hardware or similar that <br /> allows only one motion to operate. <br /> 11. Extension cords shall not be used in the building. Power poles may need to <br /> be added inside the building due to the type of occupancy. Contractor may <br /> check with occupant. <br />
