Please note that this review <br /> does not eliminate any further requirements as the project continues moving forward. By <br /> receiving permit, contractor acknowledges to comply with the items listed below. Should <br /> anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. Remodel shall be conducted in accordance to applicable NFPA codes. <br /> 2. Ensure entire loft is removed. <br /> 3. Hardware installed on rear door shall be of a single motion type. <br /> 4. If no emergency light is located in the rear area change the exit light being <br /> installed to a combination exit/emergency light. <br /> 5. Ensure there are 2 certified fire extinguishers, front and rear. <br /> 6. Ensure rated drywall mud is used. <br /> 7. At final, provide a letter that the electric has been checked to be compliant. <br /> Inspections Required: <br /> 1. Screw inspection for each layer of rated drywall installed. <br /> 2. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non - compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance.
