Reasons for the <br /> rejection are listed below. No fees have been assessed at this time. Should anyone have <br /> any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. There shall be a "before" floor plan as well as the "after" floor plan. All <br /> rooms need to be labeled. <br /> 2. All exit doors shall be shown on the plan. <br /> 3. Any existing emergency and /or exit lights shall be shown on plan. <br /> 4. Any new electric installation shall be shown on the plan. <br /> 5. Plan currently shows a stove but there is no commercial exhaust hood or <br /> hood suppression system noted. These items will require plans to be <br /> submitted from a contractor in that field to obtain a permit on those <br /> installations. <br /> 6. Address, if not on building shall be placed on the building in 6" numerical. <br /> 7. Any A/C changes shall also be shown on the plan. <br /> 8. Emergency lights shall be added in restrooms. Additional lighting may also <br /> be needed in other areas. <br /> 9. Based on occupant load, an additional exit may need to be installed due to <br /> the not being able to exit through a kitchen. <br /> 10. Certified fire extinguishers will be required. This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> submitted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non - compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
