By paying for permit, <br /> contractor acknowledges to comply with the items listed below. Should anyone have any <br /> questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. Modification shall comply with the Florida Fire Prevention Code. <br /> 2. Install duct detectors, if not installed already. Detector requirement is for A/C with <br /> greater than 2000 cfm's. Install a remote key switch in accessible location to reset the <br /> detector. <br /> 3. Ensure certified fire extinguishers are located within 75' of travel distance throughout <br /> building. Signage and markings shall be installed to help locate these extinguishers. <br /> Ensure there is also on in pharmacy. <br /> 4. Install a combination exit/emergency light at the pharmacy door entering the main floor <br /> area. <br /> 5. Interior finish shall meet Class A or Class B requirements throughout the building. <br /> Provide that documentation. This can be emailed or faxed to the number above. <br /> 6. Though not part of the modification, if not already located, install emergency light in <br /> each restroom. <br /> 7. Maintain safe practices during interior modification per NFPA 1. <br /> Inspections Required: <br /> 1. This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> submitted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non - compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
