Obtaining <br /> permit, the applicant acknowledges complying with the items listed below. <br /> Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's <br /> office. <br /> 1. Change out standard FDC to a 5" 30 degree turndown Storz connection. <br /> 2. Tamper switches shall be installed on double backflow preventor. <br /> 3. Double backflow preventor shall be protected against vehicular damage. <br /> Install bollards. <br /> 4. Plans shall be submitted for fire alarm changes and/or additions. <br /> Inspections Required: <br /> 1. Underground pressure test <br /> 2. Underground flush - witnessed (connection shall be made after flush, if not <br /> capped off to prevent obstructions or contaminates) <br /> 3. Pressure test (placement will be checked during this test) <br /> 4. Acceptance test completed in conjunction with fire alarm test <br /> / Y BARNETT, FIRE MARSHAL <br /> ** *Please be advised this review of plans submitted is a cursory review to assist the contractor in <br /> compliance with applicable fire safety codes. This review is not intended to be a fmal approval of the <br /> submitted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non - compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
