By paying for permit, contractor <br /> acknowledges to comply with the items listed below. Should anyone have any questions, <br /> please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. Add smoke detectors on second level through out storage area and in <br /> mechanical rm. Add smoke detectors in first floor storage area. Smoke <br /> detectors shall be hardwired with battery backup. Smoke detectors shall be <br /> tied together. <br /> 2. Wall on first floor between nursery and storage shall be a 2 hr rated fire wall. <br /> A UL listing shall be submitted to this office for approval. NFPA 101 <br /> 6.1.14.4.1 (b). Firewall shall be fire caulked at roof deck and labeled. Any <br /> penetrations shall be sealed to maintain fire rating. <br /> 3. Occupant load is under 300 so there will be no additional requirements with <br /> regards to alarm or sprinkler systems. Occupant load calcs for storage is 1 <br /> person per 500 sq ft and for the jazzercise area cals are 1 person per 15 sq ft. <br /> Nursery is figured at 1 person per 20 sq ft net. NFPA 101 7.3.1.2 <br /> Additional fees have been charged because of the additional construction not originally <br /> shown on the first set of plans. Nothing was stated about building additional walls. Fees <br /> were only for those areas (nursery, jazzercise, small corridor). Fees were set at the <br /> standard rate and not at the revised rate which is double the standard rate. <br />
