By paying for permit, contractor acknowledges to comply <br /> with the comments below. Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact <br /> the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. Plans shall be submitted for changes to the fire alarm and fire sprinkler system by the <br /> installing contractors in order to obtain permit to complete the job. <br /> 2. Install emergency light in restroom. <br /> 3. Ensure duct detector is hooked up and working properly. Ensure all appliances associated <br /> with the fire alarm are addressed to the panel properly. <br /> 4. A key will be required at final to install in the Knox Box at the front of the building. <br /> 5. Ensure all penetrations to the rated walls are done in accordance to the plans submitted. <br /> 6. Ensure address is located at the front and rear door. <br /> 7. Ensure the electric panel outside is addressed to unit. <br /> 8. Label fire wall "FIREWALL -DO NOT PENETRATE" in several areas across the wall. <br /> Inspection Required: <br /> 1. Screw inspection on firewall <br /> 2. Final fire wall <br /> 3. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in <br /> complete compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that <br /> further examination or site inspection reveals areas of non - compliance, it shall be the contractor's <br /> sole responsibility, at their sole expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no <br /> responsibility for the contractor's failure to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and <br /> local ordinances. <br />
