By paying for permit contractor acknowledges to comply with <br /> the items below. Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire <br /> Marshal's office. <br /> ]. Proper safety practices shall be used during renovation. <br /> 2. If either of the fire protection systems (fire alarm, fire sprinkler system) are down, <br /> this agency shall be notified and a fire watch shall be established (if 4 hrs or more). <br /> 3. The modification of the fire alarm system and fire sprinkler system will require <br /> separate plans to be submitted along with any cut sheets, details, calcs, etc... to <br /> obtain a permit. If a system is modified and calcs are not required then a letter will <br /> be required by the installing contractor that states the modification does not affect <br /> the previous calcs of the designed system. <br /> Inspection Required: <br /> 1. Screw Inspections on Firewall <br /> 2. Firewall Penetration Inspection (includes fire dampers) <br /> 3. Firewall Final <br /> 4. This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> submitted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non-compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
