By paying for permit contractor acknowledges to comply with the items below. Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. l. The plans that were submitted noted a fire sprinkler system installed in the laundry, as the code requires. Be advised separate plans are required to be submitted to obtain a permit to install the fire sprinkler system. 2. W ith the fire sprinkler system, a fire alarm is required to monitor that system. Separate plans are required to be submitted to obtain a permit to install the fire alarm system. 3. This building is being constructed with lightweight trusses. Per 69A-60.008 a lightweight truss sign shall be installed at the main door at a height of 4-6 ft. 4. Prior to a final approval given an assembly permit will be required to be obtained from the Building Department due to this structure being assembly occupancy. (City Resolution) 5. The rated ceiling in the laundry room has no listing. Please submit a UL listed assembly to obtain that 1 hr rating. The submittal shall be sent to this authority prior to installing that ceiling for approval. 6. The AHU installed in the mechanical room appear to be creating a room plenum. If so, no storage can be installed in the mechanical rooms and the AHU shall have duct detectors installed with remote key switches to allow for reset. The AHU's shall be numbered as such. 7. An application has been supplied to obtain a Knox Box that shall be located at the main entrance at a height of 6 feet. 8. Ensure al( interior finish meets the required rating for an assembly area. 9. There was no UL listing showing how penetrations to the rated walls and ceiling in the laundry room are to be taken care keeping the rated integrity of the 1 hour rating. The method used shall be provided to this authority for approval. 10. Any access panels where valve to utilities are located shall be labeled appropriately. 1 l. Label on doors for mechanical and/or electrical rooms as such.
