We provided
professional observation and materials testing services, and have made every reasonable effort to
ascertain whether the building pad fill material and subgrade soils beneath the foundation footings along
with the cast-in-place concrete were constructed in general conformance to the approved project
specifications.
We have employed testing procedures to assess general compliance with the project requirements. We
do not undertake the guarantee of the work, nor do we relieve the contractor of their responsibility to
produce a completed project conforming to the contract plans and specifications.
To the best of our knowledge, the work at the subject site to date has been constructed in general
conformance to the letter and intent of the project plans, to include compaction verification of the building
pad structural fill material, subgrade soils beneath the foundation footings by in-place density testing. In
addition, we conducted methodical sampling of the cast-in-place concrete for compressive strength
verification at 7 and 28 days of age.
We appreciate having had the opportunity to provide materials testing services for this project. Please do
not hesitate to contact us if you should have any questions, or if we can be of further assistance.
Respectfully submitted,
UNIVERSAL ENGINEERING SCIENCES, INC.
Certificate of Au:horization No. 549/G633
-- > j;,----
ark K.
