 STEP 13 — W i T INST i I ATjQN <
'**0 IT  PT TIS STEP II WBT NIII'IN! ItIL Y IAyY AI ExT PiCY T8 ;
8AI A NIIAY D1lY IF T WII iC TNE wAll TAl1i1N IT CAN 0
BTATINS AIIIB/0it CAOSE DANIA6E TA T PB,
Before beginning the wall instailation, you may remove a curved side bottom rail to cart in sand or sifted g
,,,
soil for the pool cove and base as long as your curved sides are staked in position (make sure you return the bc- `°
tom rail to its proper position once you are done with this.)
`:.
In this step you should flatten the caztan the wall ca.me packed in, and use that as a base to unravel the R y
. ., .
wa11 as you install it. We recommend the skinnmer and return hole to be placed at ane of the four corners of the Y
:f.
curved sections of the pool {as shown in Fig.44). The skimmer location is determined by where you start the m
wall. You can hide the wall joint assembly on most size Ls `.,}'
P bY beginning the wa11 in the miie of one of  ;
curved side bottom pla,tes or bottom cuffs. Unforhma.tely, you will not be able to hide the wall joints behind a .
upright on some of the smaller size oval pools. Doing so will cause your skimmer a,nd/or return punch out to : ''
behind an upright, which you cannot have.
t-
in any case, the wall joints ST be on one of the curved ends of the pool and not on one of the straight
sides. Unravel the wall a little at a time, inserting it into the bottom rails as you go. Do not unravel the entire `
wall at once, as doing so will make the installation much more difficult_ As you unravel the wall you may `
temporarily install the stabilizer rails, or use landscaping stakes with clamps to keep the wa11 in place (as we ';
show in Fig.45 and Fig.46). We recommend that in addition to the stabilizer rails or stakes that you temporar=?-. ;
use small pieces of duct tape from the to of the wall to the to of each of the strai t side r '
P P gh nprights as added '
support during the installation. .,.
. :;.
If the sidewall appears too long or too short, make the curved sides lazger or x X
smaller by equally sliding the bottom rails in or out of the bottom plaxes or cuffs
(see Fig.42 and Fig.43 in step # 12). If the ground is uneven, the wall may jump
out of the groove in the bottom rails. Correct this condition if it happens by
rechecking the level of the entire pooi.

.  X X ►
• ,
x = sa .ay.
t;
skirrurer and retum location.
Traditional Buttress Buttress-Free
 '* ` i
„c,.;
 *`
-  F.:.' t' ui
 i I '  ;'tiY •'•
I ' '}
_    ..
'-'- J 3 1 ` \ /  D :+ ,f' Y$ <;?
:R r  ?:-r_,  .s "
. ,. ; N ,
..+-.a '
'-'" `„z'+t }.
...  _ ., .
--- --- -'-  ' f ^-
Fig. 45 e stalces to support wan F. use stakes to suort nt ' ,:
- ;:_ >
' 'i<
 , .  r
.
Y'.
