Paying for permit, contractor <br /> acknowledges complying with the comments listed below. Should anyone have any <br /> questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> l. Date batteries <br /> 2. Ensure telephone jacks are marked <br /> 3. Ensure there is a breaker lock on the breaker for the fire alarm panel. Also ensure <br /> that location is labeled inside the fire alarm panel. <br /> 4. Ensure there is a zone map located by FA panel. <br /> 5. Strobes shall remain on when system is silenced. <br /> 6. Install an outside/weather proof horn strobe at the front door area. <br /> 7. Label devices according to fire alarm programming. <br /> 8. Ensure there is a FA log book at the panel. <br /> 9. Ensure all penetrations to a fire rated wall are done properly keeping the rating <br /> intact. <br /> 10. A Knox Box shall be installed, if one not already located near main entrance. An <br /> application for the Knox Box can be obtained from this authority. <br /> Inspections Required: <br /> I. This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> submitted plans. tt is the contractor' sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. ln the event that further examination or site <br /> �nspection reveals areas of non-compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their so(e <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance.
