Plans show only signaling devices within the chamber area <br /> . which is allowed by code. At this time the plans will be allowed to move forward providing the <br /> following items below are complied with. Paying for permit acknowledges the contractor will <br /> comply. Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's <br /> office. <br /> 1. NFPA 99, Chapter 20 is the referencing code for hyperbaric chambers. It requires <br /> a fire alarm. There are no notification devices other that outside on wall. Insta(I a <br /> strobe in the restroom; install a horn/strobe at the rear exit. <br /> "?. Provide new plan at time of acceptance test. <br /> 3. Ensure there is a fire alarm log book at the panel. <br /> 4. Strobes shall remain on when system is silenced. <br /> �. Label telephone jacks (times two). <br /> 6. Date batteries. <br /> 7. Note on FA panel where fire alarm breaker is located. <br /> 8. Install a breaker lock on fire alarm breaker in electric panel. <br /> Inspection Required: <br /> I . This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> subnntted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non-compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
