Paying for permit <br /> acknowledges the contractor will comply. Should anyone have any questions, please do not <br /> hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> 1. Ensure fire safe practices are in place in accordance to NFPA 1. <br /> 2. Plans are missing sheets D1 and WP. These are noted on the cover sheet. The <br /> missing sheets did not affect my review. <br /> 3. Install smoke detector in master bedroom of unit 1398. This is not shown on the <br /> plans. <br /> 4. The breaker that controls the smoke detectors shall have a breaker lock installed <br /> to keep the breaker from being turned off. (AHJ — NFPA 1 O1 4.6) <br /> 5. Page 9 indicates a 4 unit riser when the construction project is a 6 unit project. <br /> This does not affect my review but the Bldg Official may require change to plans. <br /> 6. Ensure meters are addressed. <br /> 7. Ensure fire wall extends out into the soffit (both front and rear). <br /> Inspection Required: <br /> 1. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non-compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
