The Building Department is <br /> responsible for the main review and for ensuring all gas lines have been installed correctiy and <br /> compliant to applicable codes. This authority's review only consisted reviewing the general <br /> concept of the installation. (nstaller shall ensure that NFPA 99, Chapter 20 is followed. This authority believes that a certified contractor with a license to instali gas lines <br /> shall be obtained to perform the work and therefore be the one applying for permit, <br /> however, the Building Official will have final say. <br /> 2. This authority will require a 3` party to inspect the installation of the system if the <br /> Building Official is not going to conduct any inspections. Copies of the 3` party <br /> report shall be given to this authority for file. <br /> lnspections Required: <br /> 1. Copy of 3`� party inspection. This review is not intended to be a final approval of the <br /> submitted plans. It is the contractor's sole responsibility to ensure that the plans are in complete compliance <br /> with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. In the event that further examination or site <br /> inspection reveals areas of non-compliance, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility, at their sole <br /> expense to bring those areas in compliance. The City assumes no responsibility for the contractor's failure <br /> to be in compliance with all applicable NFPA codes and local ordinances. <br />
