By paying for permit, <br /> contractor acknowledges in complying with the comments below. Should anyone have any <br /> questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. <br /> � 1. Occupant load is based on 15 sq ft per person for tables and chairs. There is no scale <br /> .� � noted on the nlans, therefore the occupant load will be figured at the time of the final <br /> `��� �c���� /�inspect. It may be necessary to remove some seating. Also, the occupant will need to <br /> -'�'�" obtain a new assembly permit from the Building Dept. That fee will be added to the <br /> permit fee. <br /> 2. Ensure hoods and duct work has been cleaned prior to reopening. There shall be a label <br /> on the hood stating the date cleaned. Contractor that performs this work shall obtain a <br /> permit. <br /> 3. Ensure there are no cooking appliances in front of any serving window and that there is <br /> proper wall backing behind the cooking appliances (stainless steel, tile, etc..) <br /> 4. Exit lighting and emergency lighting is existing and appears not have changed since it is <br /> not noted on the plans. Additional lighting may be required at the time of the final <br /> inspection. Ensure there are emergency lights in the restrooms. <br /> 5. Ensure there is proper railing at proper heights going around the decks outside. See <br /> building department for that design. <br /> 6. Ensure hood suppression system is recertified. If any appliances are removed or changed <br /> out the suppression system shall be redone. A permit is required for this work. <br /> 7. If appliances are gas, have appliances cleaned and checked prior to operation. <br /> 8. Ensure certified fire extinguishers are located within 75 feet of travel distance throughout <br /> the occupancy with a Class K extinguisher being located in the kitchen. <br /> 9. Electric panels shall not be obstructed. <br />
