Separate plans, along with specs and cut sheets, will be required to be submitted to <br /> this authority to obtain permit for installation/modification of fire alarm system, fire <br /> sprinkler system, and generator. <br /> 2. Ensure there are new calculations provided with the fire alarm and fire sprinkler <br /> system plans. <br /> 3. Fire sprinkler system allows a single riser for up to 52,000 square feet. An additional <br /> riser will be required for going over that square footage. Also, change the existing <br /> FDC to the 30 degree turn down 5" Storz connection. Repaint backflow preventor <br /> (red). <br /> 4. Details, cut sheets, and specs shall be provided to this authority for oxygen tank and <br /> other related gases. <br /> 5. Install proper fire lane markings on west and north sides of the building. See NFPA 1 <br /> Handbook for examples. <br /> 6. Knox Box will be required to be installed at both main entrances. A master key will <br /> be placed in the box. An application can be obtained from this authority. <br /> 7. Evaluate for lightweight truss sign in accordance to Florida Statute. Sign shall be <br /> installed to the left of main door at a height of 4-6 feet. Since building is longer than <br /> l00 feet, signs shall be installed every 100. <br /> 8. On Page T2, under the square footage breakdown-conditional area, the square footage <br /> is backwards for existing and proposed. <br /> 10. Rm 115 (electric room) shall have a 1 hour rating. Door shail also be rated. <br /> 1 l. Rm 173 & 174 shall be rated. <br /> 12. Ensure all exit doors have panic hardware. <br /> 13. Label all doors of electric, mechanical,janitor, etc rooms as such. <br /> 14. Ensure duct detectors are tied to the building fire alarm system. <br /> 15. Install emergency lights or a circuit on the life safety in all public restrooms and <br /> patient changing rooms. <br />
