The exemption alloFrs <br /> you, as the owner of yovr property, to act as your own contractor with certain <br /> restsictions even though you do not have a license. You must provide direct <br /> onsite supervision of the constxlzctioa yoursel£. You may build or improve a <br /> one-family or two-family resid@nce or a farm outbuilding, You may also build <br /> or i.mprove a aommercial building, provided your costs do aot eaceed $25,000. <br /> The building or residence must be for yovr own use or occupancy. 2t may not <br /> be built or substantially �.mproved for sale or lease.
