July 16, 2012 <br /> 285 Ft Self Support Tower Structura/Analysis CCI BU No 816298 <br /> Project Number 012-01232-00,Application 144090, Revision 1 Page 5 <br /> 3.1) Analysis Method <br /> tnxTower(version 6.0.4 0), a commercially available analysis software package, was used to create a <br /> three-dimensional model of the tower and calculate member stresses for various loading cases. <br /> Selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix A. <br /> 3.2) Assumptions <br /> 1) The tower was constructed in accordance with its original design and maintained per the <br /> manufacturer's specifications. <br /> 2) The configuration of antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances are as <br /> specified in Tables 1 and 2 and the referenced drawings. <br /> 3) Mount sizes, weights, and manufacturers are best estimates based on photos provided and <br /> determined without the benefit of a site visit by SSOE. <br /> 4) All member connections are assumed to have been designed to meet or exceed the load carrying <br /> capacity of the connected member unless otherwise specified in this report. <br /> 5) All foundation steel reinforcing is assumed to have been designed to meet or exceed the load <br /> carrying capacity of the surrounding soils unless otherwise specified in this report. <br /> 6) All equipment model numbers, quantities, and centerline elevations are as provided in the CCI <br /> CAD package, dated 7/9/12 with any adjustments as noted below. <br /> 7) Caisson reinforcing information was not available, so minimum area of steel was assumed in this <br /> analysis. <br /> This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error.
