You must provide direct onsite supervision of the constructioa yoursel£. You may build or improve a one-family or two-family resideace or a f'arm outbtiilding. You may also build cr improve a commercial building, provided your costs do not exceed $25,000. The building or resideace must be for yovr own use or occupancy. =t may not be built or substaatially i�proved for sale or lease. If you se]:l or lease a building you have built or substantially i�proved yourself vrithin 1 ygar after the constructioa is complete, the la�v wi11 pres�e •that you .built or substantially improved •if for sale or laase, which is a violation of this E7Cemption. You may not hire an unlicansed person to act as your contractor or to supervise people working on yovr building. It is your responsibility to make sure that people employed by you have licexises rec�,;red by state law and by county or muuicipal licensing ordinazices. You may not delegate the responsibility for supervisiag work to a liceased coatractor who is not. licensad to perform the mork being daaa. Any person working on your building who is not licensed must work undar your direct supervision and must be employed by you, which meaas that you must deduct F.S.C.A. and withholding +__ and provide workers' compensation for that amployee, a11 as prescri.bed by law.
