That i.n the event the Suilding Inspector shall rez"re corrections to be made, <br /> fihe owner will assume full responsibility to insure •they are made, and upon <br /> campletion will ca13 for a rp�*+-�+�ction before proceecling v�ith the building. <br /> 5. That the owner sha11 assume fu11 responsibility for the constsuction aad wi11 <br /> not axpect_ suppsvision of his work from the City of Zephyrhills Building <br /> Depar�ent. <br /> 6. That prior to final inspection aay additional fees, including reinspectioa <br /> fses, must be paid ia full. A written requast from ttiis office shall <br /> constitute an official notice -to pay additional fses. <br /> 7. That the ownes sha11 comply vrith a11 City, State and Federal laws in regc3rd to <br /> social security, workman's compensation, lien laws, etc. , where applicable. <br /> 8. That the owner sha11 comply with all the safety codes issued by the Florida. <br /> Industrial Commissioa. <br /> 9. Sta.te 1aw rem,;Tas constrtiction to be done by licensed contractors. You have <br /> applied for a pexm=t under an exempt�.on to that law. The exemption allows <br /> you, as the owner of' your propPSty, tc act as your own contractor with certain <br /> restrictions even though you do not have a license. You must provide direct <br /> onsite supervision of the constructioa yovrself. You may build or improve a <br /> one-family or two-family residence or a farm outbuilding. You may also build <br /> or i.mprove a commerci.al building, provided your costs do not eaceed $25,000. <br /> The builcling or resid�nce must be for your own use or occupancy. It may not <br /> be built or substantially improved for sale or lease. If you se1:l or lease a <br /> btiildi.ng you have built or sv2�stantially improved yovsself within 1 year a.fter <br /> the constriiction is complete, t�e la�v wi11 presume that you built or <br /> substanti.ally improved •if for sale ar lease, which is a violation of this <br /> exemption. You may aot hire an unlicens�d pErson to act as your contractor or <br /> to supervise people working on yovr buildiag. 2t is your responsibili:ty to <br /> make sure that people employed by you hane licenses rec�,;red by sta.te law and <br /> by county or municipal licensing ordinaaces. You may not delegate the <br /> responsibility for supervising work to a licensed contractor who is not <br /> licensed to perform the mork being dnaa.
