You may also build <br /> or improne a commerci.al building, provided your costs do aot exceed $25,000. <br /> The building or residsrace must be for your ovan use or occupancy. It may not <br /> be built or substantially improved for sale or lease. If you se1.l or lease a <br /> bvilding you have built or substaatially improved yourself �vithin 1 ygar after <br /> the constniction is complete, the law wi11 pres�e •that you built or <br /> substantially improved if for sale ar lease, which is a violation of this <br /> ex�ption. You may not hire an ualiceasad pErson tc act as your contsactor or <br /> to supervise people working on your building. It is your respoasibili:ty to <br /> make sure that people employed by you lzave licesises rez,;red by state la�r and <br /> by county or muni.cipal liceasi.ng ordinances.
