Every permit issued shail become invalid unless the work authorized by such permit is commenced within six months of permit issuance, or if work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of six (fi) months after fhe time the worl: is commenced. An extension ��ay be requested, in writing, from the Building Ofticial for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days and will demonstrate justifiable cause for the extension.
