Lead-based paint If the house was built by and before 1978, a lead based paint assessment was compfeted, and that is attached to this agreement.If lead paint is present abatement/and/or removal shal( be pa�t af the proposal. g. Conflict of interest In accordance with 24 CFR Part 92.356, the Contractor certifies that he/she has not been in a position(as an employee, agent, consultant, officer, or an elected or appainted offiaal of a pardcipating jurisdiction, state recipient, or subrecipient which received HOME#unds)to exercise any functions or responsibilities with respect to activities assisted with WOME funds or has not been in a position to participate in the decision making process or gain inside information with regard to the disbursement of HOME funds. The County certifies that it has no knowledge of#he Contractor having any conflict. h. Debarment and Suspension. In accordance with 24 CFR Part 92.357, the Contracfor certifies that he/she is not presently debarred,suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in receiving any HOME or other Federa!Funds.The County certifies that it shall check on every vendor that it is associafed wi#h this project that it is not presentEy debaRed, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ir�efigible, or voluntarily excluded from pa�ticipation in receiving any HOME or other Federai Funds. I. Flood Insurance. All Federal Emergency Management/�qency rules shall be followed j. Executive Order 12372. No#appficable since the HOME funds are not competitive. {4)Records and Reports.The County agrees to corrtplete all appficable reports and maintain documentation in accordance with HUD guidelines for a period of five years after the loan has been paid-off. The Contractor and the County certify that no Federal appropriated funds have been paid by or on behalf of it to any person for influenang or attempting to influence an afficer or employee of any agency, a member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a member of Congress in connection w(th the awarding of this or any contrac�; the making of any Federal grant; the making of any Federal loan; the entering into of any cooperative agreement; and the extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or modification of any Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement.
