<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ZEPHYRHILLS,
<br /> FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR REFERENDUM ELECTION TO '
<br /> DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THE LANDS HEREINAFTER
<br /> DESCRIBED SHALL BE ANNEXED TO AND MADE A PART OF THE
<br /> CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, AS PROVIDED IN
<br /> CHAPTER 67-2226 , LAWS OF FLORIDA, SPECIAL' ACTS OF '
<br /> 1967 , SECTION 171 . 0413 , FLORIDA STATUTES DECLARING -
<br /> THE DESIRE OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO ANNEX. THE. SAID LANDS
<br /> HEREIN DESCRIBED, PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF- AN ELECTION
<br /> IN THE AREA TO BE ANNEXED AND IN THE CITY AS NOW CON-
<br /> STITUTED , PROVIDING THAT ELECTION SHALL BE BY THE
<br /> ' REGISTERED ELECTORS RESIDING IN .THE AREA TO BE ANNEXED .,
<br /> AND A SEPARATE ELECTION BY THE REGISTERED ELECTORS OF
<br /> NOW CONSTITUTED .CITY AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF SUCH
<br /> ELECTION AS PROVIDED BY LAW.
<br /> WHEREAS , the ' City Council of Zephyrhills , Florida, has and i .
<br /> ' does hereby determine that it intends to annex the lands hereinafter ' '
<br /> described and such intention is hereby declared, and .
<br /> WHEREAS, such annexation is authorized by Chapter 67-2226 ,
<br /> Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1967 , and Section 171 . 0413 , Florida
<br /> III' Statutes , provided such annexation is approved by a majority of .
<br /> the . registered electors residing in the area to be annexed, and by
<br /> the majority of the registered electors of the City as now constituted, 1
<br /> and
<br /> • WHEREAS , the City Council desires to annex said lands to said
<br /> City, and
<br /> WHEREAS , the City wishes to provide for. such an election.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
<br /> . OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, as follows :
<br /> SECTION J . That it is the intention and desire of the City
<br /> Council of Zephyrhills , Florida, to annex to and include within the
<br />:7 boundaries of Zephyrhills , Florida, a municipal corporation, the .
<br /> following described lands , lying and being situate in Pasco County,
<br /> Florida, to-wit :
