ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, ADOPTING " THE CODE <br /> OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA "; PRO- <br /> VIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF : REPEALING <br /> CERTAIN ORDINANCES NOT INCLUDED IN SAID CODE <br /> WITH CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS; PROVIDING FOR PEN- <br /> ALTY OF VIOLATION OF SAID CODE WHERE NO SUCH <br /> PENALTIES PROVIDED; INCLUDING A SAVINGS <br /> CLAUSE THEREOF. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, as follows : <br /> SECTION 1 : There is hereby adopted by the City Council <br /> that certain Code entitled " The Code of the City of Zephyrhills, <br /> Florida " containing certain ordinances of a general and perm- <br /> anent nature as compiled, consolidated, codified and indexed in <br /> Chapters 1 to 27, both inclusive, of which Code not less than 3 <br /> copies have been and are now filed in the office of the City <br /> Clerk. <br /> SECTION 2: The provisions of such Code shall be in force <br /> on and after June 1 , 1974, and all ordinances of a general and <br /> permanent nature adopted on final reading and passage on or be- <br /> fore August 13, 1973, and not contained in such Code are hereby <br /> repealed from and after June 1 , 1974, except as hereinafter pro- <br /> vided. <br /> SECTION 3 : The repeal provided for in the preceeding sec- <br /> tion of this ordinance shall not affect any offense or act com- <br /> mitted or done or any penalty or forfeiture incurred or any con- <br /> tract or right established or accruing before June 1 , 1974; nor <br /> shall it affect any prosecution, suit or proceeding pending or <br /> any judgment rendered prior to June 1 , 1974; nor shall such re- <br /> peal affect any ordinance or resolution promising or guaranteeing <br /> the payment of money for the City or authorizing the issue of <br /> any bonds of the City or any evidence of the City' s indebtedness <br /> or any contract or obligation assumed by the City; nor shall it <br /> affect the annual tax levy; nor shall it affect any right or <br /> franchise conferred by ordinance or resolution of the City on any <br /> person or corporation ; nor shall it affect any ordinance adopted <br />
