<br />OF ALL MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS AS REQUIRED PER THE MANUFACTURER'S WRITTEN REQUIREMENTS,
<br />QUALITY CONTROL, AND FOR COORDINATING ALL PORTIONS OF THE WORK.
<br />7. DIMENSIONS SHOWN ARE TO FACE OF THE SPECIFIED BUILDING MATERIAL; (CONCRETE, CMU, WOOD/METAL
<br />STUD, ETC.), AND TO CENTERLINE OF OPENINGS, UNO.
<br />8. IF REQUIRED BY THE AHJ, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING AND SUBMITTING
<br />PRODUCT APPROVAL DOCUMENTATION TO THE AHJ IN THE FORM REQUIRED BY THE AHJ. THE CONTRACTOR

<br />9. ANY ERRORS, OMISSIONS OR INCONSISTENCIES DISCOVERED IN THE DOCUMENTS, OR ANY VARIATION OR
<br />AMBIGUITIES BETWEEN THESE DRAWINGS AND ACTUAL SITE AND CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS AND/OR
<br />REQUIREMENTS, SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT. IF A DISCREPANCY IS FOUND IN
<br />THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING.
<br />10. ANY ON SITE OBSERVATIONS BY THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE IN THE FORM OF RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ONLY
<br />AND DO NOT RELIEVE THE CONTRACTOR FROM HIS RESPONSIBILITY OF BUILDING ACCORDING TO THE
<br />APPROVED CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE CODES AND STANDARDS, AND
<br />AS REQUIRED BY THE AHJ.
<br />11. ALL MATERIALS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH OTHER MATERIALS SHALL BE COMPATIBLE AND COMPLY WITH THE
<br />MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS.
<br />12. ALL MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS SHALL BE AS SPECIFIED, UNO. SEE PROJECT
<br />MANUAL SPECIFICATIONS.
<br />13. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL AN IDENTIFYING SYMBOL ON
<br />STRUCTURES CONSTRUCTED WITH A LIGHT -FRAME TRUSS COMPONENT IN A MANNER SUFFICIENT TO COMPLY
<br />WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA FIRE MARSHAL'S OFFICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 633.027, PER

<br />SITE WORK & FOUNDATION
<br />1. FOUNDATION DESIGNS ARE BASED ON AN ESTIMATED SOIL BEARING VALUE OR ACTUAL VALUE AS SPECIFIED
<br />BY A GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER AND NOTED ON THE DRAWINGS. FOUNDATIONS AND SLABS ARE DESIGNED
<br />TO UNIFORMLY BEAR ON WELL COMPACTED, WELL DRAINED NON -EXPANSIVE SOILS. A CERTIFIED SOILS
<br />ENGINEER SHALL REVIEW FOUNDATION DESIGNS, BUILDING LOADS, AND COMPARE WITH SUBSURFACE SOIL
<br />INVESTIGATION RECOMMENDATIONS. SHOULD ON -SITE OBSERVATIONS SHOW THAT FOOTINGS SHOWN HERE
<br />ARE NOT SATISFACTORY, THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY FOR REVISED DESIGNS.
<br />2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SITE REQUIRED ITEMS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: SITE
<br />UTILITIES, SLEEVES, CONDUIT, PULL BOXES, STRUCTURAL BASES, FOOTINGS, ETC. DESCRIBED OR REQUIRED

<br />PREVENT WATER INTRUSION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO; FLASHINGS, WEATHERIWATER-RESISTIVE
<br />BARRIERS (BUILDING WRAP), SELF -ADHERING MEMBRANES, AND SEALANTS AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS
<br />OR AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED IF NOT INDICATED.
<br />2. ALL PENETRATIONS THROUGH THE EXTERIOR CLADDING SYSTEM SHALL BE PROPERLY SEALED.
<br />DECAY & TERMITE PROTECTION
<br />1. ALL BUILDINGS SHALL HAVE TERMITE PROTECTION AGAINST SUBTERRANEAN TERMITES, INCLUDING SOIL
<br />APPLIED PESTICIDES, BAIT SYSTEMS AND PESTICIDES APPLIED TO WOOD, OR OTHER APPROVED METHODS OF
<br />TERMITE PROTECTION LABELED FOR USE AS PREVENTATIVE TREATMENT TO NEW CONSTRUCTION TO COMPLY
<br />WITH APPLICABLE BUILDING CODE AND THE AHJ.
<br />2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TERMITE PROTECTION AS REQUIRED BY ALL APPLICABLE CODES. TERMITE
<br />PROTECTION SHALL BE INSTALLED BY A LICENSED PEST CONTROL COMPANY PER THE TERMITICIDE
<br />MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE RULES AND LAWS
<br />ESTABLISHED BY THE STATE.
<br />3. THE TERMITE PROTECTION SHALL BE PROVIDED BY USING REGISTERED TERMITICIDES. THE TREATMENT
<br />SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE RULES AND LAWS ESTABLISHED BY THE STATE,
<br />4. A PERMANENT SIGN WHICH IDENTIFIES THE TERMITE TREATMENT PROVIDER AND NEED FOR REINSPECTION
<br />AND TREATMENT CONTRACT RENEWAL SHALL BE PROVIDED AND POSTED AS REQUIRED BY CODE OR BY THE
<br />AHJ. IF REQUIRED BY THE AHJ, A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SHALL BE ISSUED TO THE AHJ BY A LICENSED
<br />PEST CONTROL COMPANY,
<br />5. CONDENSATE AND ROOF DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT LEAST 1'-0" AWAY FROM BUILDING SIDEWALLS,
<br />UNO.
<br />6. ALL WOOD FRAMING MEMBER AND FURRING STRIPS IN CONTACT WITH OR ATTACHED DIRECTLY TO MASONRY
<br />OR CONCRETE SHALL BE OF APPROVED PRESERVATIVE TREATED (PT) WOOD AND ALL FASTENERS AND
<br />ANCHORS TO BE COMPATIBLE.
<br />7. PROVIDE CODE REQUIRED CLEARANCE AT EXTERIOR WALL BETWEEN WALL COVERING AND FINAL GRADE FOR
<br />TERMITE INSPECTION.
<br />FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
<br />1. PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS SHALL BE PROVIDED IN EACH BUILDING AS REQUIRED AND SPECIFIED IN
<br />NFPA 10, PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHER SHALL BE INSTALLED IN LOCATIONS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS
<br />OR MINIMUM OF (1) FIRE EXTINGUISHER PER BREEZEWAY, CORRIDOR, GENERAL BUILDING AREA, OR AS
<br />OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY THE AHJ. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS SHALL BE LOCATED (1) PER FLOOR, WITH A
<br />MAXIMUM TRAVEL DISTANCE OF 75 FEET TO THE EXTINGUISHER OR AS REQUIRED BY THE AHJ. EACH
<br />EXTINGUISHER SHOULD HAVE A MINIMUM RATING OF 2A:10-B:C, UNO.
<br />2. WHERE REQUIRED OR AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS, PROVIDE PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS IN EACH
<br />INDIVIDUAL RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNIT AS RECOMMENDED BY NFPA 10 AND INSTALLED AS INDICATED ON
