Minimum deck requirements shall be in compliance with applicable building code, Tamko Underlayments shall be installed in strict compliance with applicable Building Codes. 3. A!1 Tamko Underlayments shall be applied to a smooth, clean and dry surface with deck free of irregularities.Deck shalt be fastened in strict compliance with applicable Building Codes. i 4. All Tamko Underlayments shall not be applied over an existir�g roof mambrane as a recover system but may be applied over an approved roofing Base/Anchor steeet underlayment. 5, TW Meta.l and Tile Underlayment, Moisture Guazd Plus, TW Underlayment, Tamko SA Base & ' Taxnko SA CAP shall not be left exposed as a temporary roof for longar than 30 days of application. 6, Awaflax, Awaplan 170 and Awaplan Premium shall not be left exposed as a tecnporary roof for � longer than 180 days of application, . ;:,�;,�;,, 7, The standard maximum roof pitch for Awaflex, Awaplan 170 and Awaplan Premium shaIf.be 6:12 for flat tile installation and 6:I2 profiled Eiles with lugs. 8, The standard maximum roof pitch for TW Meta] and Tile Underlayment and Tamko SA CAP shall be a:12 for flat#ile installation and 4:12 profiled tiles with lugs. 9. Refer to Prepared Roofing system Product Control Notice of Acceptance for listed approval of this product with specific prepared roofing products. l0. Tile storage shall be on a battened roof deck when the underlayment slope limit(See#7 &#�3 above) is exceeded. Care should ba taken during the loading procedure to keep foot traffic to a trninimum and to avoid droppit�g of tile directly on the underlayment. 11. The Tamko Underlayments may be used with any approved roof covering Notice of Acceptance listing the Tamko U�nderlayment as a component part of an assembly in the Notice of Acceptance. If Tamko Underlayments are not listed, a request may be made to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) or the Miami-Dade County Product Control Department for approval provi�ed that appropriate documentation is provided to detail compatibility of the products,wind uplift re�istance, and fire testing results. 12. All nails in the deck shall be carefulty checked for protruding heads. Re-fasten any loose decking panels. Sweep the deck thoroughly to ramove any dust aad debris prior to application. , 13, When applying the membrane in the valley, start at the low point and work to the high point, rolling tha membrane from the center outward in both directions. For ridge applications, center the . membrane and roll from the center outward in both directions. l4. For the self adhered membranes roll or broom the entire membrane surface so as to have 100% contact with the base sheet,giving special attention to overlap areas. 15. Flash vent pipes, stacks, chimneys and penetrations in compliance with Roof Assembly current Product Control Notice of Acceptance and applicable Building Code. 16. All protrusions or drains shall be initially taped with a 6" piece of approved Tamko Underlayment. The flashing tapa shall be pressed in place and formed around the protrusion to ensure a tight fit. A second layer of the same Tamko Underlayment shall be applied over the taped underlayment. 17. All membranes or packaging shall bear the imprint or identifiabte marking of the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and the following statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved"or the Miami-Dade County Froduct Control Seal as shown below. ,,. r�aoe►u�courvrr • .
