veys and other as-builfi drawings provided by Ovvner the Professional-that indicate the location <br /> of all existing buildings, utilifiies, conditions, sfreets, equipment, components and ofher aftributes <br /> having or likely fio have an impact on fihe Project; (iv) familiarized itself with pertinent Projecfi <br /> dates and special requirements, including the Projecfi schedule; (v) reviewed and analyzed all <br /> Project geotechnical, Hazardous Substances, structural, chemical, electrical, mechanical and <br /> construction materials tesfis, invesfigafiions and recommendations provided by Owner or the <br /> Professional; and (vi) gathered any ofiher information necessary for a thorough understanding of <br /> fihe Project. If ttie Pr.oject involves modifications to any existing sfiructure(s) or other man-made <br /> feature(s) on the Projeet site, fihe Contractor represents that it has also revie�nred all as-built and <br /> record dravuings, plans and specifications provided by Owner or the Professional and thoroughly <br /> inspected the existing sfructure(s) and man-made feature(s) to identify existing deficiencies and <br /> ascertain the specific locations of per�inent sfiructural componenfs. Claims by Contractor result- <br /> ing from Contractor's failure fo fiamiliarize itself�nrifih fihe Site or pertinent documents shall be <br /> deemed waived. <br /> 2.2 The Contractor shall furnish or cause fio be furnished, and paid from the Construction <br /> Contract Price, the Work. The general nature of the scope of the Work the Contractor is to com- <br /> plete is outlined in the bid documents. <br /> 2.3 The Contractor agrees to provide all services required #o professionally complete the <br /> Work in an expeditious and economical manner consistent wifih the Contract for Construction <br /> and the best interests of the Owner. <br /> 2.4 The Contracfior shall, in consultation with the Qwner, Professional(s), and the sub- <br /> contractors, endeavor to develop, implement and maintain a spirit of cooperation, collegiality, <br /> and open communicafion among the parties so that the goals �nd objectives of each are clearly <br /> understood, potential problems are resolved promptly, and, upon completion, the Project is <br /> deemed a success by all par�ies. - <br /> 2.5 ConstructionServices <br /> 2.5(a) The Contractor shall supenrise and direcfi the work at the Site. The Con- <br /> tractor shall, at a minimum, staff the Project Site with personnel who shall: <br /> (i) supervise and coordinate the Contractor's personnel and act as its primary liaisori with fihe <br /> Owner and Professional; <br /> (ii) coordinate trade contracfiors and suppliers, and supervise Site construction services; <br /> (iii),be familiar with all trade divisions and trade contractor's scopes of Work, all applicable build- <br /> ing codes, and the Contract for Construction; <br /> (iv) check, review and coordinate shop drawings and materials delivered to the Site, regularly <br /> review the Work to determine its compliance with the Contracf for Construction, periodically con- <br /> fer with the Professional and any other Owner consultants to assure acceptable levels of quality; <br /> (v) prepare and maintain Project records, including process documents and daily logs; <br /> (vi)�schedule and conduct weekly progress meetings with subcontractors to review such matters <br /> as job site safety,job procedures, construction progress, schedule, shop drawing status, and <br /> other information as necessary and provide prior notification of, and minutes from, such meet- <br /> ings to the Owner and the Professional; <br />
