FARKAS Residence <br /> 37120 Foxrun Place <br /> Zephyrhills, FL 33542 <br /> February 24, 2016 <br /> with 12d nails installed a maximum of 3" on center. <br /> • Wall Sheathinq —The new %" plywood exterior sheathing material is to be <br /> secured to the 2"X4" studs employing 8d ring shank nails, 4" on center along all <br /> the edges and 8" on center in the field of the plywood, however where nailing is <br /> not possible, the studs may be secured to the plywood employing generous <br /> amounts of waterproof, exterior grade construction adhesive. The replacement <br />, stucco material is to be provided with the required double layer of vapor and <br /> moisture barriers installed over the plywood sheathing and then installed as a <br /> three coat stucco system reinforced with galvanized or stainless steel wire mesh <br /> and secured with galvanized or stainless steel fasteners. The three coat stucco <br /> system is to provide a minimum thickness of 7l8" of masonry material. The <br /> stucco is to be finished and painted to match the existing stucco materials. In <br /> those areas where the existing stucco is to be retained over new plywood <br /> sheeting which has been provided with the required double layer of moisture and <br /> vapor barrier, the stucco is to be secured to the new sheeting with #10 X 2" <br />� galvanized or stainless steel wood screws, installed 16" on center horizontally <br />' and vertically. <br /> • Window Installation —The existing windows are to be reinstalled into the repaired <br /> openings and secured with #8 X 3" galvanized or stainless steel screws, 6"from <br /> all corners and then 12" on center on the sides and top to insure that the window <br />, is secured to adequately provide for the +25.5 PSF /-27.6 PSF wind load <br /> pressures. <br />' • Interior Wall Finish — Upon completion of the structural repair of the wall, <br />� including the installation of minimum R11 insulation, the interior walls are to be <br />, finished to match the existing. <br /> GENERAL SPECIFICATION <br />' The repair and restoration of this single family residential structure has been designed <br /> in accordance the requirements of the FLORIDA BUILDING CODE 5TH EDITION, <br />� BUILDING, CHAPTER 16, DESIGN CRITERIA and ASCE 7. <br /> 4 <br /> William F.
