PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
' The fallowing roaf cavers are mechanically attached or fully adhered to Approved substrates using fasteners, stress plates and
adhesives,as outlined in the Limitations/Conditions of Use herein.
Y Mule-N;de TPO-c membranes are nomina3 45-mi!(1.1mm}or 60-mil(1.5 mm)thick,polyester-scrim reinforced,thermopiastic
olefin(TPO}single-p{y roof inembranes.
} Mule-Hide TPO-c EXTRA membranes are nomina! 72-mi{ {1_8mm) ar 80-mil (2.Ommj thick, po{yester-scrim reinforced,
thermoplastic olefin{TPO},single-ply roof inembranes.
➢ Mule-Hide TPO-c Fleece Back membrane is a nominal 45-mil (1.1mm) or 60-mil {1.5 mm) thick, polyester-scrim reinforced,
thermaplastic alefin(TPO}single-pIy roof inembrane with a polyester fleece backing.
5. LIMITATIONS:
5.1 This is a bui(ding code evaluation. hfeither Trinity)fRD nor Robert Nierninen,P.E.are,in any way,the Designer of Record
for any project on which this Evaluation Report, or previous versions thereof, is/was used for permitting or design
guidance unless retained specifically for that purpase.
S.2 This Evaluation Report is not for use in HVHZ.
, 5.3 Refer to a current ltoafing Materials Directory for fire ratings o#this product.
5.4 For steel deck installations, foam plastic insulation shall be separated from the building interior in accordance with FBC
2603.4 unless the exceptions stated in fBC 2603.4.1 or 2603.b apply
S.S The roof system evaluation herein pertains to above-deck roof components. Roof decks and structural members shall be
in accordance with FBC requirements to the satisfaction of the AHJ. Load resistance of the roof deck shall be documented
thraugh praper codified andjar FBC Approval dacumentation.
5.6 For recover installations, the existing roaf shall be examined in accordance with FBC 1510.
5.7 for mechanically attached insulation or mem6rane or strip-banded insulaton, the maximum design pressure for the
selected assembly shall meet or exceed the Zone 1 design pressure determined in accprdance with F8C Chapter 16. Zanes
2 and 3 shall ernploy an attachment density designed by a qualified design professional to resist the eievated pressure
criteria. Commonly used methods are RAS 117,RAS 137,FM LPDS 1-29 artd ANSIJSPRI WD1. Assembiies marked with an
asterisk*carry the limitations set forth in Section 2.2.1.5.1(a)of FM LPDS 1-29 for Zone 2/3 enhancements.
S.8 For assemblies with a(1 campanents fu11y bonded in place, the maximum desigrs pressure far the selected asserrfbly shall
meet or exceed critical design pressure determined in accordance with FBC Chapter 16. No rational analysis is permitted
far these systems.
5.9 For mechanically attached insulation or membrane over existing roof decks, fasteners shall be tested in the existing deck
for withdrawal resistance. A qualified design professiona! shall review the data for campariscin to the minimum
requirements for the system. Testing and analysis shall be in accordance with TAS 105 or ANSIJ5PRt FX-1.
5.10 For bonded insulation or membrane over existing substrates in a re-roaf(tear off)or recover installation, the existing deck
or existing roof surface sha11 be examined for compatibility with the adhesive to be installed. tf any surface conditions
exist that bring system performance into question, field uplift testing in accardance with ASTM E907, FM LPDS ].-52,
ANSI(SPR!!A-1 or 7A5124 shall be conducted on mock-ups of the proposed new roof assembly.
5.11 For bonded insulation ar membrane over existing substrates in a recover installatian, the existing roof system shall be
capable af resisting project design pressures on its own merit to the satisfaction of the AHJ,as documented through field
uplift testing in accordance with ASTM E907,FM LPDS 1-52,ANSICSPRI IA-I or TAS 124.
5.12 Metal edge attachment(except gutters),shall be designed and installed for wind loads in accordance with FBC Chapter 16
and tested far resistance in accordane with ANSlJSPRI ES-1 or RAS 111,except the basic wind speed shall be determined
from FBC Figure 1609
5.13 All products in the roof assembly shall have quality assurance audit'sn accordance with the FBC and E.A.C.Rule 61620-3.

Exterior Research and Design,LLC.
