Schedule work in the sequences and within times specified in Section 01010. <br /> I B. Submit separate detailed subschedule for alterations work, coordinated with the Construction <br /> � � Schedules. Show: <br /> � 1. Each stage of work and dates of occupancy areas. <br /> ' 2. Date of Substantial Completion for area of alterations work, as appropriate. <br /> ; 3. Trades and subcontractors employed in each stage. <br /> � 1:2 I ALTERATIONS, CUTTING AND PROTECTION <br /> A. � Assign the work of moving, removal, cutting and patching to trades qualified to perform the <br /> � work in a manner to cause the least damage to each type of work, and provide means of <br /> � returning surfaces to appearance of new work. <br /> ' B. Perform cutting and removal work to minimum necessary, and in a manner to avoid damage to <br /> � ; adjacent work. <br /> i <br /> ' I 1. Cut finish surfaces such as masonry, tile, plaster or metals by methods to terminate <br /> isurfaces in a straight line at a natural point of division. <br /> �� <br /> j C. Perform cutting and patching as specified in Section 01045. <br /> � ,I <br /> � D. Protect existing finishes, equipment and adjacent work which is scheduled to remain from <br /> damage. <br /> ' I <br /> 1. Protect existing and new work from weather and extremes of temperature. <br /> a. Maintain existing interior work above 60 degrees F. <br /> t � b. Provide weather protection, waterproofing, heat and humidity control as needed to <br /> prevent damage to remaining existing work and to new work. <br /> jE. � Provide temporary enclosures as specified in Section 01500, to separate work areas from <br /> existing building and from areas occupied by the Owner, and to provide weather protection. <br /> ; F. Discoveries of construction, furnishings and articles having a historical or private value remain <br /> , the property of the Owner. <br /> � <br /> ' 1. Promptly notify the Architect. <br /> 2.
