Do not incorporate salvaged or used material in new construction except with permission � of the Architect. 5. Dispose of serviceable material not wanted by the Owner in a proper manner and identify � this credit to the project. 2.2 PRODUCTS FOR PATCHING,EXTENDING AND MATCHING , � A. General requirements that work be complete: � 1. Provide same products or types of construction as that in existing structure, as needed to patch, extend or match existing work. ' a. Generally, the Contract Documents will not define standards of workmanship present in existing construction; the Contractor is expected to determine products by inspection and any necessary testing, and workmanship by experience. � 2. Presence of a product, finish or type of construction requires that patching, extending or matching be performed as necessary to make the work complete and consistent to � identical standards of quality unless the existing standard of quality is less than desirable as determined by the Architect. 3.
