\ r <br /> OR BK 5133 Pu 221 <br /> 2 r 1 <br /> SECTION 2: Said lands are contiguous to the present city limits of the City of Zephyrhills. <br /> That said lands are now unincorporated and lie in the same county as said City, and when annexed <br /> would form a compact addition to the incorporated territory of said City. That the City ofZephyrhills <br /> and Pasco County have entered into an interlocal agreement to annex said properties into the City <br /> limits of the City of Zephyrhills, so as to rectify the enclave. <br /> SECTION3: That the City ofZephyrhills,Florida,has been given authority by the legislature <br /> of the state of Florida, pursuant to Florida Statute 171.046(2)(a) and pursuant to the Charter of the <br /> City of Zephyrhills, to annex contiguous areas, which have created an enclave in said City and to <br /> extend the city limits or territorial boundaries upon the entry of an interlocal agreement with Pasco <br /> County, Florida, together with the approval of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, of said <br /> annexation duly expressed by Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 4: That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, <br /> to annex the above-described lands, which had previously created an enclave to said City within its <br /> territorial limits and the boundary lines of said City are hereby redefined and extended so as to include <br /> said area of land within its territorial limits upon the final passage of this Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation <br /> for two (2) consecutive weeks and that proof of publication of this Ordinance shall be filed herein. <br /> SECTION 6: That upon the filing of the Proof of Publication and final adoption of this <br /> Ordinance, a copy of same shall be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County,Florida, <br /> and a copy will be forwarded to the Department of State, Tallahassee, Florida. <br /> SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall become law upon being passed by the City Council of the <br /> City of Zephyrhills after two (2)readings and execution by the presiding officer and the clerk of that <br /> body in accordance with Florida Statute 171.046(2)(a). <br /> The'foregoing Ordinance No. (04--0D— was read and passed on its first reading in open <br /> and regular Meeting by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, on this on - day of <br /> , A.D., 2002. <br /> C DE C. :RACKNELL <br /> IAI resident of City Council <br /> Cray Clerk;LINDAb. )3OAN <br /> r *2- <br /> 0 <br /> O OCA <br /> 'Thetfcgregbiing Ordinance No. g,24-0)--was read and passed on its second reading in open and <br /> regular meeting by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, on this ,2-5— day of <br /> l r ' 1 ' , A.D., 2002. <br /> C DE C.
