uR BK. 4900E 1694 <br /> Airport Enhancement Program 22 i4 �� 2/27/02 <br /> SECTION 4. FIRE AND SAFETY <br /> 4.01 GENERAL: <br /> a. All persons using the Airport or the facilities of the Airport shall exercise the <br /> utmost care to guard against fire and injury to persons or property. <br /> b. All applicable City, County, State and NFPA codes,and standards and <br /> recommended practices of the City of Zephyrhills now in existence or hereafter <br /> promulgated and not in conflict with Operating Directives of the City or with <br /> Federal Aviation Regulations; are hereby adopted by reference as part of the Rules <br /> and Regulations of the Airport. In the event of conflict,NFPA codes and/or <br /> Federal Aviation Regulations shall prevail,as determined by the City Fire Chief. <br /> 4.02 FUELING OPERATIONS: <br /> a. AIRCRAFT ENGINES: <br /> Fuel servicing shall not be performed on a fixed wing aircraft while an onboard <br /> engine is operating or being warmed by external heat or within the confines of any <br /> building. <br /> Combustion heaters on aircraft(e.g.,wing&tale surface heaters, integral cabin <br /> heaters)shall not be operated during fueling operations. <br /> No person shall start the engine of an Aircraft on the Airport if there is any <br /> gasoline or other volatile fluid on the ground within the vicinity of the Aircraft. <br /> b. DISTANCE FROM BUILDINGS: <br /> Aircraft being fueled shall be positioned so that Aircraft fuel system vents or fuel <br /> tank openings are not closer that 25 feet from any terminal building,hangar, <br /> service building or enclosed passenger concourse other than a loading walkway. <br /> Fuel trucks,whether loaded or empty, shall never enter hangars nor shall they be <br /> parked unattended within a distance of 50 feet of hangars,paint and dope shops, <br /> fuel storage systems, or other critical installations. <br /> c.
