Irrigation for the purposes of watering in of insecticides, fungicides, herbicides where <br /> such watering is required by the manufacturers or by federal, state or local law, shall not be <br /> restricted;however, such watering shall be limited to the minimum necessary, and shall only <br /> be accomplished during the hours allowed above. <br /> vi. Low volume hand watering of trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetable gardens shall not <br /> be restricted; however, such low volume hand watering shall be limited to the minimum <br /> necessary. hand watering of lawns shall only be accomplished during the day and hours <br /> allowed above. <br /> vii. New lawns and landscaping are exempt from day of the week restrictions for the first <br /> thirty (30) days after installation; however, such watering shall be limited to.the minimum <br /> necescary, nd shall be only accoMplished bei4xeen thehours of p. 9:00 a:m., and <br /> - <br /> is <br /> h 5:00 m; and , <br /> is limited to only new lawns and plants. <br /> viii. The washing of automobiles, trucks, trailers, mobile homes, campers, boats, or any <br /> other type of motor vehicle or equipment, except at a business enterprise established for such <br /> purpose or to preserve public health, shall be prohibited. <br /> ix. Hosing down of porches, sidewalks, driveways and other hard surfaces, except for <br /> health and safety reasons, is prohibited. <br /> 2. The rules, regulations, and orders promulgated from time to time by the County which <br /> are more stringent than the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby adopted by reference and made <br /> parts hereof and shall be subject to the same enforcement and penalty provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 2: Any law enforcement officer and any City personnel designated by the <br /> City Manager, or his designee,which have received training in the issuance of citations or notices of <br /> violation, shall be authorized to enforce the restrictions set forth in this Ordinance. Such personnel <br /> shall be known as "Code Enforcement Officers". Any person who violates the provisions of this <br /> Ordinance shall first receive a warning and thereafter receive a citation in writing. A violation of this <br /> Ordinance for which a citation is issued shall be punishable by a fine for the first offense in the amount <br /> of$35.00 and for repeat offenses in an amount not exceeding $500.00. <br />
