3of4 <br /> (B) Insufficient fund charge(bad check): In addition to monies due, a charge <br /> : iof$25.00 will be assessed for any checks returned unpaid because of"insufficient <br /> funds" "account closed", or "unauthorized signator". <br /> (C) Meter reading charge: There shall be a charge of$15.00 for any special <br /> meter reading requested by the customer to determine the correctness of the <br /> customer's bill,if it is determined that the meter was in fact properly read in the first <br /> instance. <br /> (D) Dumping waste at sewer plant: There will be a charge of$10.00 for <br /> dumping waste the sewer plant up to the first 20 gallons. There shall be a charge <br /> - of$ 2:00,for each additional 10 gallons of waste dumped at the sewer plant. <br /> Section 5: That. Section, 5.1.081 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br /> Zephyrhills, Florida, shall be adopted and shall henceforth read as follows: <br /> SECTION 51.081 Miscellaneous Provisions: <br /> (A) Water pressure not guaranteed: Neither the City not its water department <br /> guarantees an uninterrupted supply of water or water of any particular pressure for <br /> any purpose, but reserves and shall have the right to shut off water at,any time for <br /> the purpose of making repairs or extensions, or for any other purpose incidental to <br /> the public water supply, and will not be responsible for any damage resulting from <br /> a consumer leaving a faucet open, or otherwise caused by low pressure. <br /> (B) City's right to disconnect: The water department shall have the right to <br /> disconnect water from a parcel at the main for the protection of the City or the <br /> consumer in cases where a private system has been illegally installed or a building <br /> has burned or been torn down or when the consumer has been found to be using <br /> water illegally and to assess the regular schedule of fees for restoration of service. <br /> (C) Liability of the City for damages due to low pressure: The City-guarantees <br /> no certain water pressure and shall in no case be in any wayliable or responsible to <br /> any persons whatsoever in case of fire, or for any damage that may result from any <br /> alleged insufficiency of such fire protection, either from want of pressure or volume, <br /> accessibility for any other costs. <br /> (D) City not responsible for water loss from leaks on private property: The <br /> City shall not be responsible for any loss of water from leaks or otherwise on the <br /> private property of the consumer, and shall be under no obligation to make billing <br /> adjustments for such leaks. , <br /> 3 <br />
