This site is currently pasture. <br /> Existing land use is residential, proposed land use is <br /> industrial. Surrounding land uses are industrial, airport <br /> related and residential. <br /> These five annexations and their future land uses are <br /> consistent with the Zephyrhills Comprehensive Plan and the <br /> future land use maps for the designated time periods of 1994 <br /> and 2010. <br /> 3 . Staff, Planning recommendations on proposed amendment <br /> Attached and marked as Exhibit B are staff recommendations <br /> and minutes of meetings held concerning these annexations <br /> encompassed in this proposed amendment. <br /> II . Consistency <br /> 1. With Zephyrhills Comprehensive Plan <br /> This amendment conforms with various goals, objectives and <br /> policies of the City' s Comprehensive Plan, including Goal LU- <br /> 1, Policy LU-1-1-2, Objective LU-1-2, Policy LU-1-3-5 and <br /> Policy LU-1-4-1. It adheres to Policy WAT-1-2-2, Objective <br /> WAT-1-3 , Policy WAT-2-2-2, Policy WAT-4-1-3, Policy WAT-4-2-4 <br /> and Policy WAT-5-1-2. <br /> This amendment is consistent with and furthers the intent of <br /> the adopted City of Zephyrhills Comprehensive Plan, as <br /> indicated above. <br /> 2 . Consistency of local plan amendment with regional policy <br /> plan: <br /> The City' s amendment, and adopted plan, address the following <br /> goal and policies of the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council <br /> Plan: <br /> 8. 1.3 - Policy <br /> 10. 2 - Goal <br /> 13 . 6. 5 - Policy <br /> 13 . 6. 6 - Policy <br /> 20.1.12 - Policy <br /> 3 . Consistency of local plan amendment with state <br /> comprehensive plan: <br /> The City' s amendment adheres to the state comprehensive plan <br /> through the following: <br /> 1.
