536 Adopt Amendment to Comprehensive Plan

WHEREAS, the Zephyrhills City Council has requested the Zephyrhills Planning Commission, as the local planning agency of the City, to recommend inclusion of this property in the City 's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, based upon the recommendations of the Planning Commission to the Zephyrhills City Council, said Council has prepared amendments to the City 's Comprehensive Plan' and transmitted them to the Department of Community Affairs and such other agencies as required by Section "163:3184, .Florida Statutes, and the proposed amendments have been reviewed by the Department of Community Affairs; and WHEREAS, the Zephyrhills City Council desires to hereby formally, adopt the amendments to the City's Comprehensive Plan. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, as follows: SECTION 1. The Comprehensive Plan of the City of Zephyrhills is hereby amended in the following respects: a. All maps depicting land use, traffic circulation, public facilities, recreational sites, and housing have been amended to include, show, and depict the annexed properties described above. Copies of the maps as are hereby amended are included in that document entitled Exhibit "B" to the City of Zephyrhills, Comprehensive Plan, which has previously been forwarded to the Department of Community Affairs and for purposes of this Ordinance is incorporated by reference and made a part hereof. b. Internal language was changed to provide internal consistency (Page 27 ) and to delete references no longer applicable (Objective TRA-1-2 and Policy TRA-1-2-2 ) ; furthermore, language was added to comply with the stipulated settlement agreement between the City of Zephyrhills and the Department of Community Affairs (Objective REC-1-3, Policy REC-2-1-2, Objective REC-2-2 and Policy REC-2-2-2 ) . c .
