Replacement
Disconnect and remove RTU 3 and 13 from roof.
• Provide and install two new 15-ton trane RTU.
• Install new disconnect switches and reconnect
' line voltage wiring, fire alarms system and
thermostats.
?` Install float switches and anchor to code.
Install manual OA dampers.
Start units and verify proper operation.
Quoted Price: $30,684 (initial for acceptance)
Summary/Details:
n
• RTU#3,4 and 13 were all leak checked per c
approved repair proposal however the leaks M
were found to be in an area of the condenser
coil in which making access for the repair will a
cause significant damage to the coil itself and N
make the likelihood of future leaks more
probable. 01
• RTU#4 does not have any other underlying m
problems so the leak repair itself it worth the a
attempt. N-
M-
• RTU#3 and 13 also have failed compressors V,
that have NOT been replaced yet.We believe ,2
that due to the location of the leak combined 3: i
with the expense of replacing the compressors,
that these units should be reconsidered for
replacement instead of repair.
• RTU#3,4 and 13 are 15-tons each and were
manufactured 612002.
• Forgoing the repairs to RTU 3& 13 would credit
$8,500 to the repair invoice.
RTU#1 Replaced April 2017 due to vandalism
