DONNELLY ENGINEERING ELECTRICAL <br /> SECTION 16010 <br /> BASIC ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> PART GENERAL <br /> 1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br /> A. General: Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br /> Conditions and Division 1 Specification sections, apply to work specified in this section. <br /> 1.2 GENERAL <br /> A. Provisions: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make ready for use a <br /> complete electrical system as specified herein and shown on the drawings. <br /> B. Provide and Install: The word "provide" where used on the Drawings or in this Division shall mean <br /> "furnish, install, mount, connect, test, complete, and make ready for operation". The word "install' <br /> where used on the Drawings or in this Division shall mean "mount, connect, test, complete, and make <br /> ready for operation". The Contractor shall perform all work required by, and in accordance with, the <br /> Contract Documents. <br /> C. Installation: Provide and place in satisfactory condition, ready for proper operation, all conduits, wires, <br /> cables, and other material needed for the complete electrical systems required by the Contract <br /> Documents. Additional conduits and wiring shall be provided wherever necessary to complete the <br /> installation of the specific equipment provided. Include all auxiliaries and accessories for complete and <br /> properly operating systems. Provide all electrical systems and any necessary accessories per NEC <br /> and local codes and ordinances. It is the intent of these Specifications that the electrical systems shall <br /> be suitable in every way for the service required. All material and work which may be reasonably <br /> implied as being incidental to the work of this Contract shall be provided at no additional cost to the <br /> Contract. <br /> D. Made in the USA: All products shall be made and fabricated in the USA. <br /> 1.3 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A. General: The work provided under this Division shall include all labor, materials, permits, inspections <br /> and reinspection fees, tools, equipment, transportation, insurance, temporary protection, supervision <br /> and incidental items essential for proper installation and operation, even though not specifically <br /> mentioned or indicated but which are usually provided or are essential for proper installation and <br /> operation of all electrical systems as indicated in the contract documents. <br /> B. Minimum Requirements: The contract documents describe the minimum requirements that must be <br /> met for an acceptable installation. <br /> C. Notices: Give all notices, file all Plans, pay all fees, obtain all permits and approvals from authorities <br /> having jurisdiction. Include all fees in the Bid Price. <br /> 1.4 INTERPRETATION OF DRAWINGS <br /> A. General: The Drawings are diagrammatic and are not intended to show exact locations of conduit <br /> runs, outlet boxes, junction boxes, pull boxes, etc. The locations of equipment, appliances, fixtures, <br /> conduits, outlets, boxes and similar devices shown on the Drawings are approximate only.
