1.4 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Submit manufacturer's specifications for units showing dimensions, weights, capacities, ratings, fan <br /> performance with operating point clearly indicated, motor electrical characteristics, gages and <br /> finishes of materials, and installation instructions. <br /> B. Submit assembly-type shop drawings showing unit dimensions, construction details, and field <br /> connection details. <br /> C. Submit maintenance instructions, including lubrication instructions, filter replacement, motor and <br /> drive replacement, and spare parts lists. Include this data in maintenance manuals. <br /> 1.5 PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br /> A. Deliver units with factory-installed shipping skids and lifting lugs; pack components in <br /> factory-fabricated protective containers. <br /> B. Handle units carefully to avoid damage to components, enclosures, and finish. Do not install <br /> damaged components; replace and return damaged components to unit manufacturer. <br /> C. Store units in clean, dry place and protect from weather and construction traffic. <br /> PART2-PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 DUCTLESS HEAT PUMPS/AIR CONDITIONERS <br /> A. Provide wall hung ductless or ceiling mounted air conditioning/heat pump unit(s) as shown on the <br /> plans. <br /> B. Wireless Remote Control With Large LCD Screen shall permit user to select all functions and the <br /> desired room temperature setting from anywhere in the room. <br /> C. Microcomputer-Controlled System shall constantly monitor time and temperature against pre-set <br /> conditions for maximum energy cost savings as well as to ensure correct indoor temperature at all <br /> times. <br /> D. Twenty-Four Hour(24)ON/OFF Program Timer shall allow user to set various time based functions. <br /> E. Electric Resistant Back Up Heater shall be provided where schedules are to allow supplementary <br /> heat automatically. <br /> F. Automatic Defrost Cycle shall prevent coil freeze up during heat pump operation. <br /> G. A full Width Centrifugal Blower shall distribute a quiet, even flow of conditioned air to the room from <br /> the indoor evaporator. <br /> H. Auto Louver Mechanism activated by the remote control shall, oscillate the unique air discharge vane <br /> up and down to ensure even distribution. <br /> I. Heating/Cooling Automatic Changeover shall automatically switch the unit's operation from cooling to <br /> heating and vice versa. <br /> J. The Hot Start System shall ensure a comfortable warm airflow even at the beginning of the heating <br /> process or during defrost. <br /> K.
