<br />BOXES, EQUIPMENT, ETC. COMPROMISES THE FIRE RATING OF THESE
<br />ITEMS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SEAL OPENINGS WITH CODE APPROVED
<br />FIRE STOPPING MATERWL.
<br />6. ANY PORTION OF THE EXISTING CONDUIT SYSTEM THAT IS TO BE REUSED
<br />FOR THE NEW INSTALLATION SHALL BE CHECKED TO ENSURE THAT THE
<br />CONDUIT IS CLEAN, FREE OF CORROSION, FREE OF DAMAGE, AND
<br />ADEQUATELY SUPPORTED.
<br />7. WHERE EXISTING ELECTRICAL WORK PREVENTS PROPER CONSTRUCTION OF
<br />NEW WORK, REMOVE, REROUTE, RELOCATE, OR IN OTHER WAYS ALTER
<br />EXISTING WORK TO ACCOMMODATE.
<br />8. SOME EXCEPTIONS MAY ARISE WHEREIN EQUIPMENT, EITHER IN ALTERED
<br />AREAS OR OTHER AREAS, MUST BE KEPT IN SERVICE, REQUIRING THAT
<br />FEEDERS, SIGNAL CONDUCTORS, CONDUITS, BOXES, ETC. SERVING SAME
