<br />DIMENSIONS REQUIRED. USE CUTTING METHODS LEAST LIKELY TO DAMAGE
<br />CONSTRUCTION TO REMAIN OR ADJOINING CONSTRUCTION. TO MINIMIZE
<br />DISTURBANCE OF ADJACENT SURFACES, USE HAND OR SMALL POWER
<br />TOOLS DESIGNED FOR SAWING AND GRINDING, NOT HAMMERING AND
<br />CHOPPING. TEMPORARILY COVER OPENINGS TO REMAIN.

<br />MICROBIAL ENCAPSULANT PROCESS
<br />1. ANY MATERIALS EXHIBITING MOLD GROWTH THAT ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED
<br />(SUCH AS WOOD STUDS OR FRAMING) SHALL BE SANDED WHEREVER
<br />POSSIBLE, HEPA VACUUMED AND WET -WIPED WITH A DISINFECTANT
<br />BIOCIDE SUCH AS FOSTER 40-80. CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO MINIMIZE
<br />THE AMOUNT OF DUST GENERATED DURING SANDING IF THE WALL OR
<br />ROOF CAVITY IS OPENED FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE STORE. ANY
<br />MECHANICAL SANDER USED SHOULD BE EQUIPPED WITH A HEPA VACUUM
<br />TO CAPTURE AND FILTER THE DUST PRODUCED.
<br />2. SURFACES THAT HAVE BEEN WATER AND/OR MOLD DAMAGED, AND AREAS
<br />OF POTENTIAL MOLD RE -GROWTH (E.G., WOOD FRAMING) SHOULD THEN
<br />BE TREATED WITH AN EPA -REGISTERED ANTI -MICROBIAL INHIBITOR
<br />ENCAPSULANT, SUCH AS FOSTER 40-20. THE ENCAPSULANT MUST NOT
<br />BE APPLIED TO SURFACES THAT STILL DISPLAY VISIBLE MOLD.
<br />3. ANY DRYWALL EXHIBITING VISIBLE MOLD GROWTH SHOULD BE REMOVED
<br />AND REPLACED.
<br />4. ANY ROTTEN WOOD SHOULD BE REMOVED AND REPLACED.

<br />1. ALL WORK SHALL CONFORM TO ALL APPLICABLE CODES, STANDARDS AND
<br />GOVERNING AUTHORITIES.
<br />2. REFER TO STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS FOR COORDINATION OF WORK,
<br />J. EACH TRADE CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITE AND BECOME

<br />UTILITY CO. PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK,
<br />5. DETAILS SHOWN ARE INTENDED TO BE INDICATIVE OF THE PROFILES AND
<br />TYPE OF DETAILING REQUIRED FOR THE WORK. DETAILS NOT SHOWN ARE
<br />SIMILAR IN CHARACTER TO THOSE DETAILED.
<br />6. WHERE SPECIFIC DIMENSIONS, DETAILS AND DESIGN INTENT CANNOT BE
<br />DETERMINED, NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT IN WRITING BEFORE PROCEEDING

<br />11. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, ALL FASTENERS AND FASTENING DEVICES ARE
<br />TO BE CONCEALED IN ALL FINISHED SPACES.
<br />12. ALL DISSIMILAR METALS SHALL BE EFFECTIVELY ISOLATED FROM EACH
<br />OTHER BY GASKETS OR COATINGS OR BOTH TO AVOID GALVANIC
<br />CORROSION ACTION.
<br />13. COAT ALL ALUMINUM ITEMS IN CONTACT WITH OR EMBEDDED IN CONCRETE
<br />WITH A BITUMINOUS PAINT TO PREVENT GALVANIC CORROSION ACTION.
<br />14. PROVIDE PRESSURE TREATED WOOD WHERE WOOD IS IN CONTACT WITH
<br />CONCRETE, EARTH OR EXPOSED TO THE WEATHER, UNLESS NOTED
<br />OTHERWISE.
<br />15. ALL EXTERIOR FERROUS METAL WORK LOCATED ON EXTERIOR OR IN
<br />NON -CONDITIONED SPACES (INTERIOR) SHALL BE HOT -DIPPED GALVANIZED
<br />(MINIMUM G-90 COATING THICKNESS).
<br />16, THE EXTENT OF THE WORK SHOWN ON THE PLANS AND DETAILS
<br />REFLECTS THE BEST JUDGMENT OF THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER. THE
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THE EXISTING CONDITIONS
<br />AND ADVISE THE ARCHITECT, IN WRITING, OF ANY SITUATION THAT WOULD
<br />NOT ALLOW HIM TO PROCEED ON THE BASIS OF THESE DOCUMENTS.
<br />17. THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER'S SELECTION OF MATERIALS AND (DETAILS DOES
<br />NOT RELIEVE THE CONTRACTOR FROM VERIFYING WITH THE 'MATERIAL
<br />SUPPLIERS THAT THE PROPOSED MATERIALS ARE CORRECT ,AND PROPER
<br />FOR THE INTENDED APPLICATION AND USE.
<br />PHASING NOTES
<br />I. PRECONSTRUCTION:
<br />1. GC TO PROVIDE NEW TEST & BALANCE REPORT PRIOR TO
<br />COMMENCING CONSTRUCTION TO ENSURE POSITIVE PRESSURIZATION
<br />PER BASE BUILDING DESIGN.
<br />2. GC TO COORDINATE INSTALLATION OF HEPA FILTER AIR SCRUBBERS
<br />WITH WELLS FARGO GROUP MOBILE MAINTENANCE MANAGER.
<br />SCRUBBERS WILL RUN CONTINUOUSLY DURING CONSTRUCTION
<br />ACTIVITY AND WHEN STORE IS NOT OPEN.
<br />3. PROVIDE MERV 13 FILTER AT MECHANICAL UNIT. GC TO REPLACE
<br />EVERY TWO WEEKS DURING CONSTRUCTION.
<br />4, PROVIDE CARBON FILTERS OVER ALL AIR INTAKES INCLUDING
<br />SCRUBBERS.
<br />5. PROVIDE PVC STACK W/ GOOSENECK AT EXTERIOR FRESH AIR INTAKE
<br />OF ALL ROOF TOP AC UNITS AT 10'-0" ABOVE ROOF DECK TO
<br />MINIMIZE DUST/ DEBRIS FROM ENTERING BUILDING MECHANICAL
<br />SYSTEM.
<br />6. GC SHALL COORDINATE WITH WELLS FARGO PROPERTY MANAGER TO
<br />OBTAIN A BASE LINE AIR SAMPLE PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. AIR
<br />SAMPLES WILL BE TAKEN WEEKLY WHILE AGRI-FIBER IS BEING
<br />REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING.
<br />II. SHORING:
<br />1. GC SHALL SUBMIT SHORING PLAN FOR APPROVAL.
<br />2. SEE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS FOR ADDITIONAL SHORING NOTES,
<br />3. SEAL ALL PANEL SEAMS, MOUNTING PIN HOLES & ALL OTHER ROOF
<br />PENETRATIONS UNDERSIDE OF THE ROOF PANELS TO ENSURE THAT
<br />NO AGRI-FIBER OR OTHER DUST AND DEBRIS IS ALLOWED TO
<br />INFILTRATE INTO THE STORE. SEE DETAILS.
<br />4. JACK UP ALL DEFLECTED ROOF PANELS UNTIL THEY ARE FLAT AND
<br />STRAIGHT DURING SHORING.
<br />III. ROOF:
<br />1. DETERMINE ORIGINAL ROOFING MANUFACTURER AND ENGAGE ROOFING

<br />SUBCONTRACTOR THAT CAN SOURCE A NEW ROOF FROM THE SAME
<br />MANUFACTURER. PROVIDE NEW 15 YEAR COMPLETE ROOFING SYSTEM
<br />WARRANTY.
<br />2. CAREFULLY CUT TPO ROOF MEMBRANE AND PEEL BACK ONLY AREA
<br />OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED THAT DAY,
<br />3. WHERE IT EXISTS, REMOVE EXISTING RIGID INSULATION IN ITS
<br />ENTIRETY.
<br />4. REMOVE EXTERIOR LAYER OF OSB.
<br />5. REMOVE EXISTING AGRI-CORE INSULATION IN ITS ENTIRETY.
<br />6, TEST INTERIOR LAYER OF OSB FOR MOISTURE CONTENT USING A
<br />DELMHORST PIN PROBE MOISTURE METER AT 2 REMOTE LOCATIONS
<br />PER PANEL. IF EITHER READING IS OVER 18% THEN NOTIFY THE
<br />OWNER & ARCHITECT. FURTHER CONSIDERATION MAY BE REQUIRED BY
<br />ARCHITECT AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO DETERMINE IF OSB SHALL
<br />BE REPLACED.
<br />7. IF THERE IS ANY EVIDENCE OF INSECT ACTIVITY WITHIN THE PANEL,
<br />THEN TREAT ENTIRE CAVITY WITH AN EPA APPROVED PESTICIDE.
<br />8. IF THERE IS ANY EVIDENCE OF MICROBIAL OR FUNGAL STAINING,
<br />TREAT ENTIRE CAVITY WITH ANTI -MICROBIAL AND ANTI -FUNGAL
<br />SEALER.
<br />9, PROVIDE NEW ROOF FRAMING AS INDICATED ON STRUCTURAL

<br />10. INSTALL NEW PLYWOOD ROOF DECK AS INDICATED ON THE

<br />11. COVER ALL WORK AT END OF DAY. ROOFING SUBCONTRACTOR TO
<br />SEAL ROOF MEMBRANE TO PREVENT MOISTURE FROM GETTING BELOW
<br />ROOF MEMBRANE.
<br />12. AFTER ALL ROOF REPAIR COMPLETE, REMOVE ENTIRE EXISTING ROOF
<br />MEMBRANE UP TO POINT ON PARAPET INDICATED ON DRAWINGS.
<br />13. INSTALL NEW DENSDECK PRIMED ROOF BOARD OVER THE NEW ROOF
<br />DECK.
<br />14. INSTALL NEW TAPERED RIGID INSULATION (MIN 1" THICK) MIN SLOPE
<br />1/4"PER FOOT WHERE INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS,
<br />15. INSTALL NEW TPO PER MANUFACTURE'S WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS.
<br />16. INSTALL NEW OR SALVAGED WALK PADS AS INDICATED ON DRAWING.
<br />17, RE -LEVEL THE SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM, LIGHT FIXTURES AND
<br />HVAC DIFFUSERS ONCE THE WORK ON THE ROOF IS COMPLETE
<br />IV. WALLS:
<br />1. CAREFULLY REMOVE STUCCO ASSEMBLY TO HORIZONTAL CONTROL
<br />JOINT AS INDICATED ON ELEVATIONS.
<br />2. WHEN REMOVING PAPER BACKED LATH, LEAVE APPROXIMATELY 6"
<br />GRADE D PAPER TO LAP OVER NEW GRADE D PAPER. NEATLY TRIM.
<br />3. REMOVE EXISTING MASONRY WAINSCOT. PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT
<br />MEET WITH WELLS FARGO PROJECT MANAGER TO DETERMINE
<br />FEASIBILITY OF REUSE OF MASONRY WAINSCOT VERSUS REPLACEMENT.
<br />THE INTENTION IS TO REMOVE AND SALVAGE ANY PRECAST CONCRETE
<br />WATER TABLES AND MASONRY WAINSCOT FOR REUSE.
<br />4. CAREFULLY REMOVE WEATHER RESISTIVE BARRIER WHERE STUCCO IS
<br />REMOVED. NEATLY CUT 6" TO REMAIN TO LAP OVER NEW FLUID
<br />APPLIED WEATHER BARRIER.
<br />5. REMOVE EXISTING EXTERIOR LAYER OF OSB.
<br />6. REMOVE ALL AGRI-CORE INSULATION IN ITS ENTIRETY.
<br />7. TEST INTERIOR LAYER OF OSB FOR MOISTURE CONTENT USING A
<br />DELMHORST PIN PROBE MOISTURE METER AT 2 REMOTE LOCATIONS
