<br />2. THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE INTENDED AS A GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE
<br />WORK TO BE PERFORMED. ALL ITEMS NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED OR INDICATED, BUT
<br />NECESSARY FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE INSTALLATION SHALL BE FURNISHED AND

<br />7. DISCONNECT SWITCHES REQUIRED FOR THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE PROVIDED
<br />BY DIVISION 26 - ELECTRICAL UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE ON SCHEDULE.
<br />8. CONTROL WIRING AND HARDWARE TO COMPLETE THE HVAC CONTROL SYSTEM SHALL BE
<br />FURNISHED AND INSTALLED UNDER DIVISION 23 - MECHANICAL INDICATED ON THESE
<br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ON DRAWINGS.
<br />9. DUCTWORK SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AND INSTALLED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA
<br />90A AND 90B.
<br />10. DUCT BENDS FROM VERTICAL TO THE HORIZONTAL AND ANGLED TURNS OF DUCTWORK
<br />SHALL HAVE TURNING VANES INSTALLED.
<br />11. DUCT SIZES SHOWN ARE MINIMUM INSIDE DIMENSIONS.
<br />12. AIR-CONDITIONING SUPPLY AND, RETURN AIR DUCTWORK WITHIN ATTIC SPACES SHALL BE
<br />1-1/2" R-6.0 FIBERGLASS DUCT BOARD, CLASS 1 AIR DUCT IN STRICT ACCORDANCE
<br />WITH UL 181. DUCT BOARD SHALL BE475EI OR 800EI AS PRESCRIBED BY SMACNA
<br />DEPENDING ON THE DUCT SIZE.
<br />13. PAINT INSIDE DUCT SURFACE AND PORTIONS OF STRUCTURE AND CEILING ASSEMBLY
<br />VISIBLE THROUGH GRILLES AND REGISTERS WITH FLAT BLACK PAINT.
<br />14. PIPE AND DUCT ROUTING INDICATED IS SCHEMATIC. HVAC CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE
<br />ANY ADDITIONAL OFFSETS AND FITTINGS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIVIDED DUCTS
<br />REQUIRED FOR PROPER INSTALLATION AND TO ACCOMMODATE CLEARANCES AND,
<br />CONFLICTS AS ENCOUNTERED IN THE FIELD.
<br />15. FLEXIBLE DUCTWORK SHALL BE: TYPE INL-25 AS MANUFACTURED BY OWENS-CORNING
<br />FIBERGLASS CORP. OR EQUIVALENT, SUPPORTED WITH 1 1/2" SHEET METAL STRAPS AT
<br />5'-0" ON CENTERS.
<br />16. EXHAUST DUCTWORK SHALL BE UNINSULATED GALVANIZED STEEL.
<br />17. EXHAUST FAN DISCHARGE POINTS SHALL BE INSTALLED A MINIMUM OF 10'-O" FROM ALL
<br />FRESH AIR INTAKE POINTS.
<br />18. COORDINATE WITH ALL THE TRADES PRIOR TO PURCHASING OR INSTALLING EQUIPMENT
<br />AND MATERIALS.
<br />19. COORDINATE HVAC SYSTEM DRAWINGS WITH TRUSS MANUFACTURER DURING SHOP
<br />DRAWING REVIEW TO AVOID INTERFERENCE'S BETWEEN MECHANICAL SYSTEMS AND ROOF
<br />STRUCTURE. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH
<br />TRUSS INTERFERENCE'S THAT OCCUR IN THE FIELD DURING CONSTRUCTION. COORDINATE
